    Default Quick Fish Today

    Well.
    Son's footy finished around 11:00am so I thought I'd duck up and check out Murray Creek boat ramp as I'm keen to take the new rig up there. Anyhow checked the boat ramp out and then saw a few land based spots that looked pretty fishy. Bearing in mind that Ive been told this place is pretty croc friendly and I only had the 2-4kg with 12lb leader in the car anyhow, a quick chuck around fallen trees was the go. Bloody hell the banks at low tide must be 5m high I reckon and steep and slipperry. Great way to fill in 30 minutes.

    Very nice alway good to check new spots and with those lizaerd up there the further off the water the better i reckon lol

    Funny you say that as I stopped fishing due to the fact that I got my lure a bit to close to a branch and didn't have the kahunas to wade out and retrieve it. Just on that, the little white $12:00 Storm is a fantastic lure and great value for money. A great allrounder I reckon that has seen me catch all sorts on it.

    I'm still trying to work out why. Dids started it I reckon. Good plan not to wade out. There pretty well always was a smaller 3 metre croc there at the clay bank. It was pretty tame and came up right behind the boat. There was always a big one in the straight up from there.

    Yea mate, I dunno. Dids and I have been talking about it, and I don't know. Iv done tests and it seems to happen randomly.
