    Default Burrum and Surroundings.

    Hey fellas,
Going up to burrum in January for 2-3weeks on a holiday,
Just checking in to see how the fishing is in the Burrum and surroundings, has it been red hot or been slow? and any reports of mackeral and other pelagic's getting around?
Will have a 4.2m Renegade by the time i go up so will be able to shoot offshore comfortably.
    cheers fellas.

Hi mate. Not much to report offshore, no one has been due to weather. Been some good jacks and threadys with some bycatxh in the burrum. There was prawns up the top of the river but have thinned out now I think. Other than that reports have been few and far between.

Ive been watching a few reports on facebook from locals. The burrum is red hot at the moment. Jacks, trevs, grunter and more. But it can be hard to crack the code the first few times. Start with Black Bank opposite the main boat ramp, its pretty dependable.
According to my chemistry teacher, alcohol IS a solution!
