Exploring around German

Took Mikey and one of his good friends family who are moving to River Heads for a quick run around the Straits,Mckenzies down to German on Monday. A bit of fun was had with some small jew,flatties and 3 Sharks. Not a great deal on the fishing front but apart from 3 drenchings spirits were high and they enjoyed the scenery and are excited for more exploration. Mikey drove the boat (damn could of been his christmas present).

Not real comfortable down that way in a strong wind B I regularly go down in 10 to 15 s though

It was flat as Bri on Monday,but Neasterly/easterly. Coming back in wind against tide she stands up a bit coming round South Head.
As Al says over 15 is pretty ordinary from south. Theres a lot of water comes out the Mary/Susan in a hell of a hurry so it gets erm..interesting

I like that area down there as well mate. but one trip back we didn't realise that the noreaster had got up & got soaked coming around the headland, this was in my last boat, there was that much water in the boat that the whinch pole broke loading it on.
