    Default Flatty forage prefish

Got up at 4am with Jen and threw our gear in the boat, hooked it up and headed to the ramp. Was on the water fishing by 4:45. Tried some open water deeper stuff as it was close to the top of the (small) tide. This didn't yield much except some small ones. As the forage is fast approaching I decided to try some new ground and whaddya know...... three good fish boated and two good ones came unpinned. 61cm and two 59cms. Tide turned so we headed up to the mouth near Caloundra and had a swim before heading in.

kept a couple for a feed.

Plenty of bait fish about and a few small prawns starting to flick about. Good signs for the Forage so if you haven't made plans to get up here on he 12th Feb you should start now
