    Default Bribie Passage 25-02-17

I hit Hussey Creek yesterday for some tings and got a few great feeds.
On the water at 5am, digging mud worms at 5.03am with the tide already making only gave me about 15 minutes before my worming grounds were flooded. It was enough though, lasting me through to about 2 hours after top of the tide.
Fish were patchy with only about three fish per area fished but the quality was good. Only saw two undersized whiting all day. Ended up with 9 fish over 30cm, two best were both 39cm, and two about 28cm. Also brought home two flatties 66 and 58cm, dropped another 55-60cm fish dead lifting it to the boat and pulled the hook.
Threw back about 7 other flatties sub 50cm and a flounder.

All fish not tings were caught on squidgy wild prawns on 1.5gm jigheads.
