    Default It was cold

    Went for a flick early this morning with Wags, Sam and Sam's brother Vic. It was bloody cold. I left my neoprene sox at home and felt the pain as the southerly turned my toes to popsicles. Turns out it was better dangling my feet in the water than anything else

    Got some good fish. Let a 70cm go and kept a few good ones for Wags and his family. Probably caught 18 fish

    I suspect he puts his feet in the water as the smell acts like burley. I only got 7 and then only when I was downstream a little from the Funch, the others didn't fare as well.

    Nice fish in the cold Luke. Been there but don't miss going over the South Passage Bar at first light in the middle of winter.
