    Default Sandies

    hi all
been a while between trips for me. Have the week off work so i headed out yesterday with my old man for a couple hours to track down a few sandies, have a bit of a fish and to show dad around a couple of the local creeks.
We managed 11 crabs in total all well oversize, quite a few good bream and a decent flatty caught on a prawn. Sent dad home with 4 of the crabs, he was pretty happy.
Might head out again tomorrow if wind doesn't get up too much.
Seems the sandies are perhaps more prolific off Bribie at the moment.
    Cheers
