    Default Getting My Funchy On...

As I said elsewhere, I've been struggling a little bit to fish local, but in honour of Luke, I went back to basics this morn and gave the passage a nudge. On the water at 5, and the car park was already full, but conditions nice with a run out bottoming around 7.30/8ish where I wanted to fish.
Never ceases to amaze me how many flat ones will stack up on a drain at times.
Mission accomplished, had a quick look in Glassy on the way back for a prawn or 2, lots of little ones up in the muddy shallows, not worth a cast yet.
Tony, Hussey and Glassy are still flowing brown mate, if your going up that way for a look, Id suggest working these big flood tides we have atm .
    Cheers.

Thanks for that Brian, I was thinking of giving it a wide berth there this weekend after this week's storms and decided to net some live prawns and hit woody point reefs predawn instead.

Good flatties mate ! I was out around there also this morning. Didn’t get a chance to chase a flatty tho, too busy rebaiting yabbies and unhooking undersize grunter. Boys loved it tho
Dad reckons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck.
