It's definitely worth a look mate. It's busy and there ain't no secret spots but it's a good fishery when you take a bit of extra care. That 10%/90% rule is truer there than anywhere I've fished.
The ramp at Ermington is good but the cleaning table is usually left filthy by the ferals.

We didn't drop anchor or electric all morning.
would be interesting if they tried that burley method to make them come to you

Nah you'd have 15 boats anchored in your burley trail before the fish picked it up.

Mate - it`s been years since I`ve fished the harbour .... but most of the time it was a case of second option.

I`ve actually been having a look at boat ramps of late ..... Silverwater ( risky) & just last week had a look at Ermington which looks ok & there is security . From there it's not too bad a run & certainly beet dealing with the traffic / parking etc at my old launching area (Rose Bay)

Being a Parramatta boy - maybe we should tee a trip up

I'd be keen to tee something up Chris.
About time we Southerners got off our butts and did something to rival the nation's premier fishing comp - the flatty forage.

I always thought that would be a good idea, but what beggars me up is I work Saturday and they usually run them on a Saturday so to do them in conjunction always failed me. So it would be a Sunday thing for me.
Even a shore forage say down the Lane Cove or similar then back to the Blackfishes house for a BBQ/ Sanger sandwich.
