I've camped at Lime Pocket plenty of times with no issue of flooding over easter full moons.
Stockmans Point campsite (mouth of Poverty Creek) is a decent camp site too but more exposed to SE winds.
Apart from the crowding at Mission Point it is still the best of options.

Mission is the go mate. I’ve camped there lots my self, I had my bucks week there, through winter is prime time at mission IMO, the midges are quiet, the weathers nice, the goannas are pretty slow, I’ve never seen it too busy, in saying that I stay home on long weekends and get out through the week. It’s worth a trip there if you haven’t been. Just need to take your own wood, it’s frowned upon to burn wood from the island. We have caught probably 8-10 jacks off the drop off, Mostly on softies from the boat. But few stragglers on livies, Got a few Jew and snapper aswell, seen 1 salmon off the beach. A great spot and a pretty easy trip, Be a good spot for a flatty forage,
