Default That was a funny ol day

Still on leave, now its a torn calf muscle, but with yesterday being the last of the good weather this week i limped/hobbled and dragged myself into the boat for a fish.
Hit up the local for a mixed catch of flathead, flounder, bream and 3 cracker whiting, all on the prongs.
Home for lunch and couldnt be bothered taking the boat off, so headed up to Scarby for an afternoon fish with bait. Another mixed bag of Bream, Tailor, Cod and some under Squire. Had a big old cod about 3 foot long sitting under the boat in 8 foot of water eating any of the bream that I was to slow netting, that was funny on 10lb line.
No pics, just a nice day, prob shouldnt have gone, leg looks like Ive got a dose of elephantitis now, but oh well.

Sounds like a nice way to spend the day B. Afterall, you can't do housework with a sore leg, so better off getting out of the road

I could tell ya some stories Chewy.....
Getting old, 4cm tear in the right calf muscle, felt like someone hit me with a golf club. More time off, least I mite get a weeks pay via income protection for this one.

Shane, heaps of pike up at Scarby near your spot, spoke to ol mate at the ramp who got a near 50 pink fish from out the front of the peg on the tip there last night. Big mob of dolphins inside Scarby marina "frolicking" for lack of a better word, just in front of the boat club there.Sou east is back into it again down here today

Bugger about the calf Rakey, excellent about the fish. Did a 10cm tear in my calf three years ago. Buggers hurt and take some time. Rest, compress and elevate! Also epson salt baths help the recovery. Take care
Now, I'm not saying we should invoke capital punishment for Stupidity, but how about we just take all the warning labels off everything and let nature sort itself out?
