During the neap tides you won't have any worries getting into Elimbah at low tide, I will slip up to the first green beacon upstream of the little boat ramp, and drift with the run in tide past the house and up to the slipway, I will keep doing that for a while, if i have no luck with that, I will anchor up on the rock wall corner upstream of the slipway and try my luck there, if all else fails I will run back down the creek hour before high tide and drift across the weed banks at the mouth of the creek, if I draw a blank there I will go home wash the boat and have a few beers.
I find yabbies work best up the creek and worms best at the mouth on the weed banks.
