    My best whiting have been from almost directly in front of the little ramp in Elimbah Creek.
    Fish in the 35 to 40cm bracket but quite a lot of water between them.
    Upstream south of the islands is quite productive for average fish for me.
    In the slip and moorings stretch I tend to get little action.
    Upstream at the next set of houses always produces some good fish if it is salty enough.

    Appreciate the info mate, I generally don't fish the creeks for whiting during summer only chase them up the creeks between April and August, however a friend of mine is catching a few at the moment in Elimbah and mostly good quality, might try and catch up with you one morning up Ningi for a chat if you have the time
