Now, combine all that with the Moon ABOVE, the Moon SET, the Moon BELOW and the Moon RISE.
So Moon ABOVE or BELOW create the high tides. The moon SET and RISE are the low tides. So it would stand to reason that fishing the bottom of the tide also aligns with the moon SET and RISE. Hence you have people believe that fishing the moon SET or Rise is the best time to fish. But that also equates to when the Gravitational pull of the moon is at its weakest, therefore has less effect on the fish's lateral line - OR - is it the rising or falling Barometer that has a greater effect on fish's lateral line, therefore the reason you can't catch fish at anytime while the barometer is falling.
This debate has been flogged to death a thousand times, there are arguments for and against each one.
I say this, if you feel like going for a fish, don't be put off by the Moon, Barometer, global warming, muslim extremists or the nuclear arms race. Just go fishing. If you catch a fish, then you have had a good time. If you don't catch a fish, then you have still had a good time.
Sorry Dids, it's time to stop thinking and start drinking.
