    Default Great time of year

My weekend went somthing like this hitched up the jayco hawk friday arvo with the good wife and headed down to borumba dam for a couple of nights.
It was a great spot - we stayed at the one closest to the dam - a few beers, fire, few tunes an thats gold for me and mel. Abbey stayed at home with her mates all coming over a house full of teenage girls, what could possibly go wrong. The house was still standing when we got home so that was a good rdo. Come monday mel was of to get the all important hair do done so i got the boat ready messaged old mate chewy but he had to spend time with jode so it was a solo mission - got to my little creek just as the tide was making perfect - bait was everywhere first few fish were small trevs on the little 2.5 zman grub in blood worm. Worked my way up the creek waiting for the tide to get up enough to fish a little back eddy - flicked the little grub out a couple of flicks and i was on to a good fish which pulled plenty of drag, i was thinking thredie until i got a good look a fat little barra of 75cm - came up bit more of a play and into the net after that things went down hill. A bloody shark eating a good grunter, a big blue salmon going trough the sticks - think he came out at tincan bay.
I moved on and found some more grunter trevs and giant herring - biggest grunter was 62cm the one under that was 60 cm.
Gee they go hard in the current - a couple of flat ones to round it of and that was my weekend- fresh gruter for tea and back to work tomorrow - IMG20190406072938.jpgIMG_20190406_150209.jpgIMG_20190408_151125 (2).jpgIMG_20190408_151802 (2).jpgIMG_20190408_151859.jpgIMG_20190408_150857 (2).jpgIMG20190408130903.jpg tight lines every one

Don't know what to say. Friggin' awesome comes to mind, but that still doesn't seem quite right. Top weekend Pete.
