    The days of reliable fishing runs in the Noosa system are long gone.
    Was pretty decent in the 80's but been declining badly since.
    Probably the most reliable area is between the canal entrance and the barges.
    Around Tewantin had plenty of structure on the bottom scattered across the river.

    That's no good, I am heading up on Monday for a week and had high expectations.

    However heading to Awoonga tomorrow for a couple of nights first, hoping for few decent fish at least.

    Will post if any results.

    Awoonga is firing ATM but there is a tournament there starting on 29th September. Suggest you slow roll some big soft plastics along weed edges around the main basin...

    No Paulo, I haven't left the sound/ mouth area. I'm not trying to hard, I like to keep fishing to fishing trips and when on holidays with the missus minimise fishing. Happy wife happy life and that's!
