Default My sons and my first threadfins (port of brisbane)

So, our first trip was an absolute disaster... wheel bearing on the trailer carked it and I noticed it when we got to the ramp. I raced to supercheap and got there 2 minutes before closing. Bought one of everything they had wheel bearing and full hub related because I wasn't sure what mine was. Got back to the ramp to find that nothing fit. So we were going to be stuck there until 9am the next day so we figured we may as well go fishing. We went to the poo chute and started casting for livies when on my first case my net caught a piece of my zodias/generation black combo and flicked it over the side. Tried to retrieve it to no avail... very expensive trip. Anyway, rest of the night we caught only catties, rays and a shovelnose.

Second trip was much better with my catching my first threadfin... and the third trip my son got his. Both on live herring. Mine was released but unfortunately my sons expired in spite of attempts to revive it, so it came home for my wife and mother in law.
