    Default Around Cairns

    Hi All,

Looks like I am one of few new members who have actually posted on this site. lucky me!!!

Love the look by the way.

Just wanted to report on that around Cairns I have been doing a lot of spear fishing and their seems to be quite a few painted crays around. I managed to score 3 in 1 trip and saw many more that I could of speared but left them as they needed a bit of growing. However, there were some big boys around however i do find the big ones are a little tough.

Best thing of all is when I got home, in the salted water for boiling and need I say any more - it was heaven.

    Neil.

    Beautiful!!!!

I dont know if this is true or not but I have been told that the crayfish attracts sharks by hitting their two long feelers together.

Can someone confirm this is true or not?

    Regards
