    Default Massive Brown/Sea Runner!!

    Just quickly....

A have a picture here of a HUGE Sea Runner/ Brown Trout that Peter Morse enticed on fly, on a West Coast Tasmanian River.

This River is known for it's huge Whitebait runs and produces large specimens regularly.

Peter caught this monster several weeks ago!

This thing is a 17lb HORSE!!

WHAT A BEAST! . I've seen a bit of Peter Morse's fishing in action. Very skilled fly fisho that's for sure! I can honestly say, I don't think I've seen a bigger Aussie Trout. Does anyone have any pictures of bigger Trout from Aus?

That things a bloody monster! Reckon he might of wanted a 8 or 9 weight in his hand when it took the Fly!

Have seen some real big Trout in Freshwater Fishing Australia magazines... But that one is just gigantor.

    Yep, it's rather large eh!

    Troy....

I don't have any pics - but a mate caught a 20lb Rainbow about 10 years ago Fat as mud.

I think the Australian record is 29.5lb from the Huon River in Tassie, back in the early 1900's - pretty sure they still feed up on adult Lampreys etc and get HUGE down there!
