Forgot to point out my mishaps with a bow wave off a large vessel that cruised by, it was a fair way out and the wave it generated seemed to gain power and size, I was standing on a sandbar on high tide and the next thing I know there"s a set of 4foot waves approaching, as they hit the shallow water they began to break on me, save my camera was the first thought which was in my pocket so I turned my back to them and proceeded to jump as they hit me lucky not to get bowled over but managed to keep my camera out of the drink.

Also sliced my thumb badly on the Tailors gill rakers so was dripping blood into the water, up to my waist in almost darkness bleeding profusely, didn't really care that I could be attacked by a shark though because the fish were going off and I just was having too good a time.

Loved the report guys. Sounds like a real fishing experience, with all the mishaps to go with it. That is what makes it memorable I reckon. Well done on the fish. Enjoyed the read very much.
