    Default Fishing the Southern flats

    Hi Guys/Gals

On Saturday i headed down to one of my favorite flats in oyster harbor down here in Albany WA.

The session started off slowly with only a few fish falling to twitched Zipbaits Raphael's (in the Red gold and Ayu colors) after walking about 500ms from were i started i ran in to a really hot patch of fish that had a hunger for the Riggy S 46s (Black/Gold orange belly color) used with a fast twitchy retrieve. after about 15 fish i needed a brake from the cold wind so headed up the King River.
Started out using Towadis but after about half an hour of casting for only one boil i switched to the Riggy 35F in the Ayu color witch proved to be a good move as i picked up 5 fish in quick succession bu then it all went dead and i ended up getting one more (on the Raphael) before it got to dark to see my feet (and stingrays).
but ended up with a few nice fish and some piccys to whack up!!!

    hope you like em.

    Deacon

    Nice work Deacon.

Do you prefer the Gold and a Yellow chrome for bream fishing?

    Cheers

Nice to hear from the south on AA Deacon.

I like the look of that last Rigge colour.

No doubt soon you will post one of those Albany 40+ horses you have a knack of catchin?!

ActiveAngler: I prefer a color that throws off a lot of light to help attract the fish esp on the flats were the fish are spred out.
