Not bad effort there mate - got any pics?
Well done mate, hope you stayed 30 meters away from the wharfs at all times. Don't want you getting a big fine
cheers ando
Nice work Alex....
Sounds like fun mate
The harbour security found us eventualy, to disapoint us with the 30 metre rule that just made casting more dificult but not inpossable.
I think i have attached a picture of a couple of fish.
Nice one, looking foward to the piccies.
Col.
If all else fails read the instructions
Sounds like a great afternoons fishing. Especially as it was your first time fishing there. Would it be normal to get that many Snapper from the river?
I fished in a river in Adelaide (Port Adelaide River-I think.) just recently while on holiday there and, caught heaps of King George Whiting on two occasions while I was there. When I spoke to some locals they said it was very rare to actually get them in that spot. Usually they just got Mullet (our Pilch) and Salmon Trout from there. So I was pretty rapt. They wern't real big or fat but they were all legal at around 33-35cms. I was trying for a mulloway of course, even trying a KG as live bait but I didn't get a run while there.
Danny.
Hi Danny
We went back to the brisbane river on sunday and did well again.
We landed 1 bream on a hard body and 7 snapper 2 cod 2 taylor and 3 flathead all on plastic .
All good size fish , just puts you off when the fun police hang around
Alex
Couple of good sessions there. Is the 30 metre thing a Queensland law?Don't think there's such a rule in Tas.
Cheers
