.....on fillets with some of my work team was the plan for today as it might be the last trip in Fishinmishin for a while. 9 drifts turned into 8 cobia using frozen dead yellowtail, Dojo, soft plastics and livies. The run across the northerly was ordinary heading out but turned good before midday and with the eskie chokkas with fish and practically empty with ice, we headed back after only 3 hours of fish time for a swim and a couple hours of filleting. It was one of them rare days where everything went right....but all happened too quick. There were even scattered LTs around if we decided to give chase. I'll see if I can squeeze on more trip in before the boat is returned to Ron to hopefully stock up on a bit of tuna if they are still around. BTW....Tash actually fought the fish in that she is holding in the pic of us all. I recon it weighs more then her.
