Bundy update

[Mad Mullet]

Hi all

Not a lot to report this week. Went up to Broadwater Haven on Deepwater Creek for a look around in the canoe. Place looks fantastic but not much in the way of fish to report.
I spent a few hours tossing a variety of soft plastics, poppers and prawn imitations over the sand flats near the river mouth without much luck. Saw a couple of flatties follow soft plastics right back to my feet but no hookups at all. Only strikes came from some big longtoms which I didn't manage to hook.
It is a beautiful place and next time I'll take someone with me to help paddle so I can check out the action up in the mangroves.
I'll post some pics shortly so you can see what the place looks like.
