    Default brisbane river fun

Not much of a reports person, but I love reading them and looking at the pics. Though I would share a few pics form my last couple of sessions in the Brisbane River.

The boat is going great and has seen heaps of fish, cant wait to fish A.B.T out of it.

Well as I said I’m not one for reports, so ill let the pics do all the talking ( as they say a photo says 1000words)

Have been getting a few nice threadies in the river ( are same fish)

Also can’t forget can’t the bream, they have been thick this year summer

And also the by catch when chasing the bream

All fish were realised to live another day, other then the threadie poor thing died after such a hard fight. I was actually was fishing a comp, was going to put it back because too nice of a fish to kill. The salmon ended up getting me 2nd place in the comp; although I would have rather seen the thing swim away it was a good result

    Ando.

    Awesome fish there Ando,

I have heard that there are plenty of threadies on the river this year or should I say more people fishing for them.Did it take a lure or bait?
How big is you Hornet Trophy? I used to drift that area you have taken pics for squire. Sitting just near the channel where the drop offs are usually accounted for some good squire all through the year all though with out a electric you keep getting snagged.

Nice bream as well.they go hard on hardbodies and light line.

    Cheers

Thanks mate, the threadie actually came on a live bait been meaning to throw jackalls masks around at them, and some bigger snapbacks big never really had the chance. All the otherr fish were caught on lures. Cant wait till i get my electric.

    cheers

They certainly do. Great report and pics. Nice Threadie. its a beauty and the bycatch while breaming can't be complained about either.
    Cheers Danny.
