    Default Prospecting the docks

Went for a flick today with brad down the docks. After rigging up we were set for a days fishing.

Brad was working hard for his fish, and payed off in the end

After losing some big bream early to spectacular bust offs, we decided to go for a snorkel around the docks, and try and sus out there feeding habits

The water was a bit to cold for Queenslander, so decided to take the opportunity to take some pics of the surroundings while brad was deep under the wharfs.

Didn’t take long to get onto the fish once brad came back.

Lots of big fish lost today, but still was better then going to work
    cheers ando

    Nice work Ando and Brad.

Ando / Brad - what is your best tip for getting bream under wharves when you are shore based? Do you work your plastics deep?

    Cheers - Ben

there some smart bream down here as there is bugger all tidal flow and its a very clear system so the bream get all the time in world to sus out whatever lure you are using.i proved it to ando yesterday as we seen some fish in excess of 50cm and told him u will never catch 1 so i got a crab dropped it in his face and he looked at it but kept shying away.so the motto goes "bigger the fish the smarter they are"

Great story and pics Brad and Ando,

Have you guys tried dropshotting plastics to the fish?? You will be able to present a more natural virtually unweighted plastic and be able to keep it in their face longer.

    Just a thought anyway.

    Cheers
