Meet up with a few of the land based locals yesterday. Opposed to the water being crystal clear, we were faced with Chocolate colour water .
Although the conditions looked appalling, the fishing was far from that.
The top 3ft of water was all fresh, so looked like it was going to be a lot deep water fishing done.
We started fishing deep pylons, with 1/16th and 1/24th jig heads and it didn’t take long to find the bream.
After stinging most of the bream, we decided to walk over to the other side of the docks. To try our lucking fishing the deeper pylons in the mariners.
And that’s were a started to smack the bream We also found that a lot of the bream on the mariners were still hanging high in the clean freshwater under the pontoons.
After a few more fish on the plastics I decided to fish a Megabass smolt, After giving the lure a bit of the tune and I was happy. I ran it under the pontoons , so now the hardbody was swimming to the right and rubbing under the pontoon, causing weed and mussels to fall from the pontoon which really put the bream in a feeding mood.

Me on with a nice bream
The rest of that day was spent fishing marinas
This pretty much sums up our day
