    Default Canning River Yak

I went for a short paddle at midday to get some sun and be out there in the glorious conditions. A pod of dolphins crashed my fishing and decide to hang around my little grey kayak. For what felt like around twenty minutes I had a show put on for me with jumps, rolls and splashes encircling the yak. The dolphins lost interest in my Mini-X and continued on their playful hunt of small choppers around the bridge pylons. Since the local bream population would have been sent packing from all the commotion I decided to make a move as well and see if I could troll up a decent tailor. After a zigzag troll of the pylons my tally was a couple of tiny choppers, oh well. An exercise, 3 species boated I was happy and headed home.

those dolphins look pretty cool and its sure nice to see them about from time to time but it can sure get frustrating when they keep coming around and scaring the fish. Not as bad as seals though. love the flattie pic.
