Tin Can Bay trip?

Hi all

Have a long weekend coming up this weekend.
Trying to decide where to head.
Thought Tin Can Bay might be worth a trip for a bit of a look around and a fish.
Thought I might take my canoe to muck around in the estuary although I have a bigger boat I could take if the fishing is worth it.
Does anybody have any inside info on the fishing in Tin Can Bay?
What is biting at present? What type of fishing can I expect to encounter?
Should I take my tinny or will the canoe give me enough access?
Any help greatly appreciated.
