Still about 3 weeks off untill I head off, but its getting expensive everytime I walk past a tackle store, it's one expensive addiction.

Ripper fish there mate!!! You are loving the vibes arent you!!! And how do you go about lifting the fish up to where you are fishing from?? Or is it not as low to the water as it looks in the pics??

Hey Leethal, it is more then an arms length in most places but some places you can comfort lift. Small bream can be lifted quickly just with the rod but the bigger ones you have to let them tire a bit then use a net or a quick leader job.

Last Wednesday I hit the structure again. I met up with da_houghsta after I finished work at !.30pm and started the rod wrist flicking....... for the chase of bream.

A slow start had us searching for the blacks and after a bit I lifted a couple rats out of the H2O. Then it all went quiet again.

da_houghsta had to go to work soon after and the fish knowing he had left showed up...

Ben & I got out this morning for a bit of a flog around a couple of flats- him spinning & myself with the long wand.

Absolutely bugger all!!!!

Benny spooked one flatty 3 times & nothing else. Cold weather seems to have shut the fish down a bit.
