Just recently bought myself my first boat, a 385 stessl edgetracker, 25 HP merc, etc etc and have had a few trips out in her now and was just going to chuck a few pics up of the captures so far. As the title says, I'm loving it, beats landbased any day!!! And its great the fish have played ball of late too! So here you go...

It is great to see people getting into fishing eg. buying your first boat ect welcome and many fish in the future. You boat looks like my first boat i had a 3.9 v nose barra punt with a 25hp johnson but i think yours looks a little better than my old girl. O have since upgraded to a qunintrex hornet 500 with a 90hp Honda sweet.

    Hey Leethal,

Great read and pics mate.Just as Carney i started out with a 3.9 V nose punt and 25 merc. Great little boats and you will have a ball exploring plenty of small tight creeks that the bigger boats struggle in.

look forward to more fishy report from you as you explore more waters.

    Cheers

Thats right happy every one has to start someware and there are some great little boats on the market that are very capable and well set up. The bigger boats can have some troubles in tight places.

Thanks for the replys fellas! I have gone so more places now I have the boat, I dont think I could fish landbased again! I have taken it out the last 7 of 8 weekends and its good to be learning the local river for the classic coming up in december. Last weekend was a long day me and a mate were out on the water from 6:30am until 4:30pm. But was worth it as we found a few good fish on a tough day. I will chuck up a few piccys when I get them off my mates camera.

    Cheers
