    Default Flicking for tailor

Decided that I'd go for a river fish last night, in the hope of getting a few tailor. I contacted Pete (adidaspeteman) and asked if he'd like to go for a fish and flick a few lures. I also intended to set the big lines out just in case a biggie ( mulloway) turned up, and then flick a few lures for a few tailor to pass the time. No big fish turned up but the tailor turned up and stayed around on and off all night. We had a ball catching and releasing quite a few tailor. No real huge ones but all good fun on the flick rods.

Up North around the Shark Bay and Kalbarri area you can get Jumbos up to 8 or 10kgs.

In the Swan Canning Estuary system it's mostly little choppers with the max size around 40cm and bigger from the Perth beach's.
