Looks like a good little father/son trip out.
Is it low tide in the fourth pic? What tide were you fishing?

Bream chasing addict of tackle and all things fishy...
Yea guys, it basically dries out at the mouth then 400mtrs of sandflats.have found out a bit more info now.fishes well round the snags just as the tide breaks into the creek.May give it a go this weekend on the early morning flood if the predicted northerlys present themselves. For canoes or yaks id think theodolite at woodgate would be great. As would the elliot river.Think it may be a slleping giant as far as jacks go.We had some family pics done recently under duress and the photographer was saying he prawns in the elliot and normally get 4 or 5 jacks in the cast net but only smaller ones around 50 cm.... wat the??
Its easy to lose the footwear in that mud, eh chewy? Theres a little creek like that near my house too. I must do a walk and check it out. The locals tell me it holds whiting.
For the kayak guys, I can tell you Beelbi Ck would be my pick.
Sounds like a great sesh Chewman. Can't wait to get up there again so Andy can show me how to fish.
Cheers Kim.
