Default A nic e Bream and some Bass

The other day me and my mate, Alistair grabbed our canadian and put it in our favourite Bass river. The water was nice and clear and on our way up a couple of nice bream pulled out from crunching our lures at the last second. At about 9am we pulled up at a hole covered in bait fish. I grabbed my mates brand new uncrissened loomis and DAIWA luvias and had a few casts. I spotted a good fish on the edge of the hole and after 2 twitches had a nice bream crunch the stiffy minnow. As it was the rods first fish I had to give it up

When we reached the first of the bass territory we spooked one on the bank. But before long I had first fish two the boat and Alistair followed with a similar model. The river was really low and there was no water up any further so we made our way back.

They're usually not as fat as impoundment fish. So Im pretty sure theydon't fight quite as hard. But still its great fun and the sceneries awesome

Not Sure what it measured. I never remember to stick them on the measuring tape in the canoe. Ill make sure I start doing it though

You should of seen in the fights closing stage There was about another 8 bream following him around. About four would of been bigger than him

I just line up the bream against my rod and remember what word letter or binding it comes too then measure that when I get home. This allows you to quickly cast back at them followers or a school thats moving past.

    thanks everyone
We just got some good rain so the river should be flowing again. Looking forward to getting into some fresh water for the big 50+ ones.
