Default Built for Speed 6, 7 and 8.

Been taking a mate of mine Giant Herring fishing over the last couple of weeks. He's landed 3 from 3 in 2 sessions. I'm on 0 from 2. Beginners luck I think. The last pic was a beastly 98cm which beats my PB by 3cm.

So far all we have caught as by catch is some decent Flathead to 68cm, a few average Bream and a dirty Eel. It seems if you know what it takes to catch them you don't catch much else. Don't know why. I guess you've always got a chance at something decent like a Trevally or a Jack. We've hooked a few other things that weren't fighting G.H. style and lost a couple of Bullies to bite offs. Only a matter of time till a good Jack hits the bank I hope. Might have to wait till next season though.

I'm heading to Hervey Bay with 2 mates tomorrow night. Towing a 5m center console up so I'll hopefully finally land a Longtail by Monday. Something tells me they don't like me though. If not Blues then some Mackerel at least. If worst comes to worst we'll fish off the jetty and get wasted by some bigguns, but the weather is looking pretty dam good.
