    That is a stonker mate!! I have only seen 2 before and both I had caught in the castnet. they are apparently a weed feeder so even better getting him on something different

    the more common stripped or Silver Scat is a more common catch and also hurts like crazy when spiked Next time your in a Aquarium shop have a look as they sell both Scats converted to fresh, Silvers are usually around $20 for one 10-15cms long, the red ones (like yours) are worth nearly double that for the same size :O

    That's a huge Scat Isaac!

    Like Brandon, I've got them in a castnet before, but only half that size!
