    Default Brissie river 4/4/09

    Hi guys!
Headed down to the local boat ramp yesterday afternoon for a few hours.
I rigged up half a small mullet (caught from cast net) onto hook. After a few casts i was on! It was a small bream measuring 25cm (bream was obviously thrown back). From then on didnt have much luck but had a go of the cast net. Not much luck with the cast net either but kept trying, so i was obviously waiting on something good! The time had come at last! I pulled in a small Jewfish, I was very pleased as you can imagine!
Sorry about the bad quality picture it was taken on a mobile phone.

    Anyway,Cheers
    Dan

Hey fellas, remember to ALWAYS be on top of your local fishing regulations and only keep what you can identify and need for a feed.

Nice bream Dan. I've eaten a few medium soapies before and they tasted fine but they came from the ocean and were silver. The darker estuary residing ones taste a bit to muddy for me.
Bream chasing addict of tackle and all things fishy...
