    Default A morning walk..

Without a deckie (Andy being injured) i was sick of sitting in front of the tv so decided to go for a walk on the flats at Boonooroo. I took my new blues code for a swim with no result so i tied on a squid lure ,a floating one, that attracted plenty of interest but no hookups,so changed to an el cheapo orange one with the following results..

    Hi Craig,
a lot of the places we walk are really shallow rock/weed,so i just remove various amounts of lead with a pair of sidecutters, depending on weather i want them to float, suspend or slow sink.Just remember,if you are trying them in the bath or bucket they will be more bouyant in salt water. They take them really well off the top, though today was really clear and i only took one leader size whereas i probably needed to downsize.i also forgot my stimulate,so they werent really sucking it down..they willl be tasty tonight though

Thanks for the squid jig tips Paul. I like you under water shots also.

    Thanks Joe,
i was bored so this was all i could come up with, its an olympus 790 sw. There was just a couple lucky shots as im not sticking my head under the water to see wat i had in the frame, interesting the noise frome the camera, the click, definately scared the other squid when i was taking shots underwater, each time it clicked?? they shot off a metre or so..
