    Don't you hate it when you got to stop fishing when conditions are improving?
    It happens to the best of us for many different reasons. Good on you for having a go, and wish you better results next time.

    the lies your finding can be a bit of lye to the amount of fish actually hang there. If theres not alot of current flow they will remain there for long periods of time as there's nothing to push new sand into the hole made by the flatty. so if you find a spot covered in lies its most likely a build up of lies from a few fish over a longer period then a horde of flatty, but if it is a load of em its good fun.
