    Default Townsville Jack Tournament

    Hi all just wanting to get a idea of who would be interested in a ABT style Jack tournament to be held next year.

    It is just a thought at this point to Promote my new Opposite Lock 4x4 super store that will be opened in late November or early December 2009.

    I am thinking of running a 2 person team style tournament just on 1 or maybe 2 days.

    If you can give me some feed back on what kind of prize money would attract most of you to compete.

    Also any subjections on arena and entry costs.

    I'm not a big cash prize person so you wouldnt need anything to attract me...I'd fish for the fun of it

    I'd be interested Chris, timing is my only concern, I'd need to know well in advance to arrange it around work. Details on organisation, I don't have a clue on, sorry. Lucky draw seem to be the way to go as far as reducing cheating is concerned though. Have a look at the Flathead Classic rules and regs.

    I was thinking of an entry fee of $150 per team depending on cost.

    Prize fund.

    First $600 + fish trophy for each angler + free entry next year
    Second $400 + fish trophy for each angler
    Third $200 + fish trophy for each angler

    Tournament fishing shirt for each angler and a cap

    Just a idea

    Sounds like a great idea Chris. You might even find me make the trip from Melbourne for that one....if l can find some one to fish with that is.

    As far as prize money goes, that's not what really attracts me to fish tournaments...its more the people and the social side of things.

    I also like the idea of getting a tournament show bag with a shirt included...its a nice souvenir.
