Been a bit slow for me the last two weeks. I haven't landed anything of decent quality other then Flathead, Cod and Bream. Been a few good fish caught around me though which makes up for it. Did a bit of running around to get these fish. Hit a number of spots, some new, some old. Ended up working out pretty well.
First for the night, Jason's 67cm Tailor after Matt and I got bitten off 3 or 4 times in as many casts. We could see solid bow waves cruising and it was only a matter of cranking whatever you had on across the surface to entice a take. Matt hooked one first cast only to have its mate take his black swivel and bite him off after 10 seconds. By the way they were feeding you could tell they were starving!
On the measure.
Then Matt's ghost Jack going 44cm.

Closely followed by Jason's 37cm Jack. The smallest of the season so far. Went great for its size though.

Then Jason again with a 71cm Big Eye Trevally which hauled arse after a solid surface take.
Head shot.
