Not on that fish Jake, but did get another Jack on it . It's a beautiful casting rod, no doubt the best I've used, "Go well, Go Egrell" I say.

You've got your fair share of red fish this season anyway, but all on bait???

Yes marty, well spotted, 8 jacks so far this season, and all on bait Im ashamed to day. Looks like I wont be entering any lure comps for a while. Only fish Ive caught on lure this season is grunter. Its a bit different up here to the gold coast canals, thats for sure. Lotsa snags and lost lures in the more natural territory.

Doesnt matter how you get em, as long as you get some. You been doing any early morning runs out of P Pt?

Unfortunately a lot more early morning runs (from many spots) than red fish in the boat.

Finding plenty of fish, but having trouble finding jacks in any numbers. Guess that is why they call it fishing, and not catching!
