Nice morning for a feed.

With not being able to fish last weekend due to work commitments, I was hanging to wet a line.
The bosses went home yesterday, so I was fishing today!
I only had a small weather window according to Seabreeze, so I was up at sparrows.
Put the boat in at 4.15am, and I had heaps of livies by 4.30.
Off to my spot I went. It was a nice morning with no-one around which made me happy.
I deployed a live herring and started throwing my Cultiva stickbait. After a while I saw my live bait rod twitch....strike, yep I'm on. Being no match for 30lb braid, I land a 66cm flattie. Nice, considering it was still quite dark.

Another bait was hooked up and swimming. Again, it wasn't long before it got hit. This fish had more go in him, it even jumped!
A nice Tailor in the mid 50's was landed, followed closely by another mid 50's Tailor also on a live Herring although this fish had a deformed head.

It had a head on it like an Eagle Ray!

Hooked and landed a few small GT's on the stickbait as well between livie strikes, only small fish but good to see them around again.

Before the wind had picked up too much, I tried a snag where I've been told a Barra is holding. It was spotted by a mate snorkeling last weekend, about 90cm he reckons. Needless to say, I didn't see it!
