    Default 3 1kg Bream

Well my tarpon trip was put aside due to weather so we tried another spot. Steve's first cast was hit but pulled hooks and my first cast hooked up onto a 39cm bream 1.05kg on 2kg mono (PB) The bite shut down for a while till I hooked a 40cm bream 1.25kg on 2kg mono again and broke another PB! The rest of the night was like that where we would hook up and then go dead for an hour or so. Ended up with the 2 bream and an eel for me, Steve caught the biggest bream at 41cm, 61cm dusky and a few mullet on lures. Oh he also caught a big muddie at 210mm!

    Cheers, Mick.

    Great fish in one session.
Were the measured to the fork or tip?
And what were they hitting, lures or bait?

Thanks for the comments, measured to the tip of the tail. All fish were on bait bar the mullet.
The weather wasn't that good, windy and rainy. We wanted to hit the tarpon but the conditions didn't suit

    Cheers, Mick.

Digi scales and the landing net, just minus the net afterwards. Pitty they were silver and not red. Haven't even had a hit from a redfish this season Oh well, bring on winter beach fishing then spring bassing and then back to the red fish

    Cheers, Mick.
