Default On the Surface @ Noosa

Been having some reasonable sessions over the last week picking up some small Trevally on the surface.

Today,Craig and myself had an awesome little session on the whiting with a few other species thrown in along the way.
I managed an absolute horse of a whiting that measured 43cm and a new PB popper caught whiting for me.
Craigs long tom was a great capture as they can be very tricky to hook.
It put on a great aerial display too.

Sorry for the hidden backgrounds but this new whiting spot we found is
    pretty dam good.

    Cheers,
    Pete

    Cheers Nath,

No real tricks mate....Just quite a steady medium retrieve without pauses seems to get them in pursuit.
In poppers I like the clear 'Cultiva' gobo,River to sea Bubble pop 45 and the rebels.

Yeah mate I was really happy with that one....It was really thick too.

Good work Pete, you been getting any Golden's? Been a few around.

It's funny about the Longtom's, you'd think you would catch them in the main river and bays etc, but the only place where I've caught them is where I think you got that one.

They obviously like the shallow flat areas.

I like catching them, love their acrobatics.
