    Default Proserpine River trip

Well our Proserpine River trip was a wash out. It rained all friday night before our arrival, so the river was a wash with silt. No Barra, but lotsa crabs. We had a good time anyway and will head there again next summer.dcp_2308.jpg

Yea we stayed there in 97 i think, same deal, wind and rain...check out our report after the sooty comp,we stay at a place a bit south, where its fishable in really strong winds, and if its raining/flooding,the runoff fishing is awesome...well it can be...Long way to go to get washed out. Is there much in the way of roadworks?

Bummer dids. last time I was there it didn't stop either so we went over to repulse and it was much cleaner with barras evrywhere but hard to hook. Ended up fishin the islands out off it and smashed a massive school of good fingers and mixed reefies includin a metre long cod that ate a pstar. Plenty of good country up there mate.
