I had an overwhelming need to fish and the ability to arrange work around it yesterday. Weather was great, except the wind, so I fished the Gold Coast Seaway area from just before the bottom of the tide (8PM) through till the top of the tide (4am). Just to make every one feel good, I thought I'd tell you about it, I got about 3-4 little picks, 1 bite off (shark) and 2 eels. I hope this happens to everybody occasionly and not just me.

It happens all too often.Last Sat. I fished in a comp from 6am till 6pm for one just legal mullet and one just legal bream. I spent 4 hours on the beach waiting for the salmon to come in.Leaving to fish the lake, a mate who fished alongside of me stayed on - the salmon came in 10 min later and he bagged out with his 5 salmon. Between 6pm and 7pm I caught my 5 tailor , 5 bream and a nice flathead. Just one of those days.

yup, same tonite, we did get one shark, and a bust off, but the rest of the nite our mullet swam and swam and swam...

I did an all nighter up the Burrum last friday for just a couple of undersizers.

I did get a feed of prawns the week before from the Mary though, they are still on, so I might go back there tomorrow. ANd I pulled in a 2 m bull shark on spin gear at River Heads, he took me 25 mins. I got 2 jacks about 3 weeks ago, but none since. I reckon the season is closed now.

not much else around lately.
