Hi there. I don't eat the salmon but I have a few friends who love them. They make fish cakes out of them.

    Jeff,

with the salmon I caught at Javis bay earlier this year I gave to my mates in the area who dont fish and dont get alot of fresh fish.

I filleted, skinned and removed the dark blood line from the fillets and they loved them. Although the humble aussie salmon is not ranked as good table fair like anything, if looked after properly, dispatched quickly, and prepared well they taste good fresh.

Mick, are you going to go to the weight in this arvo or tomorrow?
