Flathead fishing with mayhem lures

Im in Brisbane at the moment and went for a fish with a good friend from LURE WORLD to his great flatty spot and mate did it turn on !!!!!
I was using the VIB and the K-I MINNOW and we were trolling in about 4 to 6 foot of water...
we started out with a small Flatty that we tagged and let go...
The second one we got was a bit bigger and i got it on the VIB

We were still trolling as i was taking the fish off the lure when my other line got hit hard and before i could get to it it snapped my 12 pound leader dam it was a nice fish

about 10 mins later my VIG got smashed but did not hook up and it must have followed it about 10 metres and just drove it very hard and it felt like a good fish and it was
70cm and nice and fat

we took some photos and tagged it and let her go

we were getting a few smaller ones but it was a great time with the fish turning it on and as we were leaving Kev nailed another great fish with a 69cm Flatty and nice and fat again
We ended up with 8 Flatties in 3 and a half hours and i had the time of my life so thanks again Kev for a top time chasing the lizards

Thanks Pete yes mate some beauties and it was great to catch up with you and have a fish...You will have to come up here and do a bit as well...We are spanking the Flatties up here at the moment as well on the Mayhem Lures...We got 11 Flatties and 2 small GT'S (2-3kg) and a couple of Grunter aswell in 4hours on Saturday...
I went out on Weds as well and we done the same as well mmmmmmm Having a ball mate and can't get enough fishing at the moment
