Hi Clint, yes it is good to be out again. I have only had about three outings since we fished the lake back in June. I usually start looking for a big flattie about late Oct. so I will check things out when I get back from Monduran and organise a day.
    Cheers, Mick

Thanks for the tip Lukeyboy83. I believe the area is copping some heavy rain again so I expect things to be tough but I don't know when I will get another chance so will just have to make the best of it.
    cheers, Mick.

not yet Jeff. I haven't had a chance to try them yet. Will have a go when the prawns come on and there are a few more about.I have just received my new shimano stradic to put on my new Egrell s2 and am busting to christen the new outfit.Have been tied up for most of the past couple of months with my 93 year old mum in and out of hospital but things are seeming to settle down a bit now so I am hoping to be a bit more active again
    Cheers, Mick
